Rosses Point Golf Club (20 mins)
County Sligo Golf Club is situated at Rosses Point, a seaside village eight kilometres north west of Sligo town, and is one of the oldest and best known links courses in Ireland. Founded in 1894 on land leased from Henry Middleton, an uncle of W.B Yeats the famous poet and Nobel Prize winner for literature and his brother Jack B Yeats the noted landscape painter.

Enniscrone Golf Club (45mins)
Founded in 1918 and redesigned by Eddie Hackett in 1974 and by Donald Steel in 2001, this championship course is one of Ireland's finest links courses. Apart from the championship links known as The Dunes, there is also the splendid 9 hole Scurmore.

Surfing at Strandhill (15mins)
Strandhill is famous for Surfing. It’s a particularly popular activity with visiting families and people that are just looking for something different. This surf school also runs a kids summer camp.
PUBS
Fantastic local pubs with traditional Irish Music. Durkins pub in the village is particularly good for that on a Friday night from 10 onwards. You can easily walk there from the house.
